We eat rice and beans nearly every day!. When we were younger it was healthy to eat like this!. Now everything goes to your hips or butt!. And it's not healthy for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as it's brown rice, why not!? If it's the processed white stuff, I would avoid it since the body registers it like simple sugars and it contains very little nutritional value!.

While I've not read it, "The China Study" looks at the Chinese and their eating habits and why they are generally healthier than Americans (before McDonald's and other fast "food" places invaded the country)!. They frequently eat rice!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It can be healthy, but only if eaten in moderation, and balanced out with vegetables and protiens!. Brown rice is better for you than white in that the whole grains are intact and provide fiber and additional nutrients!. Try adding flavor to your rice with soy sauce, cheese, spices to make it less boring!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

look at Asian country's people !

and they are eating white rice, not brown!.
it depends what you eat with it!.

if you are bored with regular rice, try basmati,jusmin rice!.

they have way more flavor!.
cook rice with broth,coconut milk,paella etc!.

Ditto, brown rice is healthy and very high in fiber!. It's ok to eat this kind of rice daily!.

The white one on the other hand is very high in carb and can cause you to pack in some pounds if you consume a lot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
