Question: I did lunges yesterday but only my butt is sore!?
Shouldn't my legs be sore too!? If only my butt is sore does it mean i didn't workout my legs!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you want to target your quads (legs) then do squats and/or leg presses!. lunges mainly work your butt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your legs could have been strong enough where the exercise diddnt really stress them!. On the other hand your glutes, or as you say your but is sore because those muscles are weak!. The same thing happens if you leg press alot of weight but cannot squat alot!. That means your lower back is weak!. So yes you did work out your legs but when you do a lunge your working your glutes also!. Very good exercise but if you just want to work your legs you have to isolate them with another exercise such as leg extensions or any machineWww@Answer-Health@Com
That would be typical for lunges!. They stress primarily the glutes, and to a lesser extent the quads!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
