Are calories, calories no matter what they come from?!

Question: Are calories, calories no matter what they come from!?
If it takes 3500 extra calories to gain a pound and -3500 calories to lose a pound, does it matter where the calories come from!? Like if I ate 3500 calories in Mcdonalds food or I ate 3500 calories in lean meat/whole grains/fruit!. Would it be the same weight wise!? Is 3500 calories, 3500 calories regardless of where it comes from!?

I am sure that is hard to understand, let me know if you get what im saying!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I know exactly what you are saying!.

3500 calories is 3500 calories!.
However, if you were to eat 3500 calories worth of apples, compared to Mcdonalds, there would be a huge differnece!.

You see, fat sticks to you!. 3500 calories worth of Mcdonalds would still only be one pound, but it will make your body look worse than consuming 3500 calories of apples!. If you ate the apples, your appearence would most likely look the same!. But with Mcdonalds, it would pay a much different affect on your body!.

If you were to have 3500 calories of Mcdonalds for just one day, you will not gain any weight!. Trust me!. But if you continued eating greesey, fattening food like it forever, compared to lean meat and fruits (and you had the exact same calories) you will gain weight!.

So yes, it does matter where your calories come from!.

As long as your eating healthy foods, dont worry about calories!.

I hope i helped! good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It does matter where they come from!. 100 calories from a banana are healthy!. On the other hand, 100 calories from 4 french fries is not healthy!. It is about the fat content!. Check in the labels!. Some mini bagels have 100 calories with zero calories from fat while others have 100 calories with 10 calories from fat!. You should not eat foods that have calories from fat more than 1/3 of the total calories too much!. For example: a food with 100 cal and 40 cal from fat is not healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes calories are calories as far as numbers!. The main difference between your two descriptions is that one is not a very healthy diet in that there is a lot of saturated fat, red meat, and non=nutritious additives!. the second is much better for you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it matters!.

It's not just about the calories!.!. it's about the fat content, and sugar and salt etc etc etc

Mcdonalds obviously has a lot more crap in it so will make you gain a lot more weight than if you were eating healthy food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

actually it is 2000 calories to gain a pound not 3500 calories 3500 caloreis is 1!.75lb gainWww@Answer-Health@Com
