Question: Can I loose 15 pounds before summer time? Ideally speaking like June?
As I posted before, I'm a 19 year old female, I'm 5'5 and weigh 165. I was told according to my BMI, I need to loose 15 pounds. Will it be hard doing that? I have a membership at the YMCA. How many days a week do I need to work out? Please people, tell me what I need to do !

15lbs is attainable. You're not a big person, and you're young. The best way is to do a rough estimate of the calories taken in on a day, drink half your weight in ounces of water (about 80oz) of water per day to help wash the fat out, and work out with 30-45 minutes of cardio per day. If you can push yourself to do more, that's awesome. Something else that might be helpful is to google a website that will calculate about how many calories your burn in a day doing nothing. Once you know this it will help you.

Say you burn 2,000 calories in a day, you could stick to a 1,800 calories a day in meals and burn 300 in exercise (walking, running, aerobics, elliptical (I love the elliptical)). Map it out on a sheet of paper. This is -500 calories in a day for you which is equivilant to 3,500 calories in a week and there is one pound that you won't miss:)

I had to loose weight before my wedding, I started in march, with a june wedding and was able to loose 12 lbs, without feeling like the diet was over coming my life. But writing things down and lessening my carb and sugar intake flattened out my stomach.

Yes you can! By doing Cardiovascular Activities such as running. Running is good because it gets fat out from everywhere not only the legs. How much will power do you have? If you are disciplined then you should work out every day for about 20 minutes. What will really lose the weight is a combination of exercise AND diet if you want to lose this fast. However, the most important question is, how to keep it off. No good doing all the work if you are not consistent with a diet plan in a normal lifestyle. I will give you a link below for more in depth information. Copy and paste into your address box.
