Getting protein & Iron into a diet?!
Question: Getting protein & Iron into a diet?
Answers:
you're so wrong, I come from a family of vegetarians and they were farmers, They had a lot of strength and needed it to work in the fields. You can get more protein from beans, lentils, and tofu than you can from meat, plus it is healthier and rich in iron, fiber and energy as well. Other sources of Iron would be greens like broccoli and spinach. Beets are very high in Iron as well, eating meat to get "big and strong" is just a myth there are plenty of sources of Iron and protein in other veggies and fruits, OH! and I forgot about nuts, walnuts and almonds are great too! remember to drink about 6 glasses of water a day as well to promote circulation! Vegetarian lifestyle has already been proven as the healthier one compared to omnivores/carnivores, as it reduces your chances of getting illnesses and diseases. No need for supplements when a vegetarian can get it straight from the source :P
I myself am a meat eater :P
