Feeling Sick after switching to healthy diet?!
Question: Feeling Sick after switching to healthy diet?
Answers:
As long as you are getting proper nutrients, not under-eating, getting enough calories and so on... Your body is probably just adjusting. Like going off of coffee, getting headaches and feeling like crap is normal, because caffeine is a drug. Not sure if it's the same for fatty food, but I could understand feeling like crap if you used to eat a lot of sugar.
I really doubt you should worry. If it lasts more than a couple weeks, definitely ask a doctor. And make sure you are eating enough of everything to sustain yourself.
I like to learn about health, so I try to research it a lot to find out how to become more healthy.
You may not be eating enough, or waiting too long between meals. You should be eating every 2 hours: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner. If you aren't taking in enough calories, or waiting too long between meals, your blood sugar can drop and that will make you feel nauseous, shaky and irritable.
You are right. Infact your body has reacted due to the major change. In a few days it will go away. But if you just started I recomend changing your diet gradually. But good job for going with a healthier lifestyle you should feel better soon(:
I wouldn't have made such a drastic transition, incorporating more healthy foods would have been easier.
