Maybe I am old fashioned, but do as this section is titled - diet and exercise. 60 pounds will not be shed overnight, so the most important key is to maintain positive thinking and stick with it, because it will likely take 6 to 12 months, depending on your level of commitment. If you can join a sports team, it will force you to exercise and help you to stay on track. I lost 30 Lbs during one season of water polo in high school, but I was very strict to the diet, and exercised rigorously twice a day.
Please do not try any fad diets. They do not work, end of story. Anything that promises to help you lose more than a few pounds in a week is bogus and dangerous for your health.
And just to reiterate, please stick with the diet/exercise even through the rough weeks, because you will have a week here and there where you don't lose any weight, or maybe even gain a bit. This happens to everyone, so don't be discouraged.
