Question: How long do you have after a large intake of calories until the energy turns into fat?
Considering that a calorie is how much energy is in something and that if not used, it will turn into fat and build up, how long do you have after consuming it until the energy dies therefore becoming harder to burn off? In other words, if I were to eat a candy bar, how long after the original consumption would I have to burn it off?

it doesn't work that way - you don't burn off the food you just ate, you burn the glucose and fat in your body all the time so if you eat a candy bar of 100 calories and then immediately do 100 calories worth of exercise, the end result is the same as eating the bar and doing 100 calories of exercise the next day.
