A question about eating disorders?!

Question: A question about eating disorders?
What would you call a person who doesn't eat alot, yet still throws their food up too much? I thought to have bulimia you binged before you threw up,but my friend doesn't eat a whole lot,and yet still throws her food up.

She told me she didn't want to be this way,but couldn't help it because her stomach had shrunk from years of dieting and other problems with eating. Like just today she had a half a sandwich for lunch with light mayo and light chips and a diet coke, yet still threw her food up.

I feel sorry for her and want to help her,but don't know how. Does she have anorexia or bulimia,or both? And if she has both, is there any kind of therapy, or medication to help with this condition?

Sounds like EDNOS (Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified) or anorexia with purging tendencies. To be bulimic, you have to binge. That's what bulimia is - binge and purge. But she doesn't exactly sound anorexic either.

EDNOS is just like any other eating disorder, just the "symptoms" vary from person to person

she actually has both. this is very bad.
her teeth will ruin, her body is weak, and her organs are literly (like literly) eating each other out. she will lose her period, become unhealthy, weak, sad, depressed...
so on. i could go on and on, but i dont want to scare you.

tell her parents and make sure she sees a guidance counslor. this is the only way to make things better.
please get her help befre she end up in the hospital.

Just like me she has both. It really sucks bad! I was anorexic and yrs later became bulimic. Im more bulimic then anorexic because its easyier. Its really gross!! Nobody knows im bulimic ive had a friend ask me but i jus deny it. Your friend can only get help if she wants help. Just like me i doubt she wants help!
