Which sounds like a healthier option to you?!

Question: Which sounds like a healthier option to you?
Tonight I'm going out to eat at an italian restaurant, which meal sounds healthier??
Chicken Parmesan (boneless, grilled chicken breast - not breaded) (I'd also ask to go light on the cheese)
or
Marinara sauce with spaghetti (Marinated tomatoes w spices, fresh garlic and a touch of Parmesan cheese in a white wine sauce.)
-by the way if I were to order the marinara spaghetti meal I would ask for the sauce on the side and I would see if I could get whole wheat pasta instead.

Answers:

I'd go with the spaghetti and marinara sauce. :) It is generally considered low fat on Italian menus. Also, keep in mind that portion sizes are massive today. Maybe just eat half, and take the rest home for later? The whole wheat pasta is also a good choice.

IF you can get the sauce on the side and the pasta whole wheat, then that is the healthier option. Otherwise I would have said that white wine sauces are sometimes rich/thick and have a lot of calories hiding in them, especially when made with cream.

I love food and count calories.

both are healthy "If the spaghetti is wholemeal" but if you plan on losing weight you'd rather the grilled chicken breast, Spaghetti even wholemeal ones are fairly high on carb.
