Question: Losing Weight by healthy snacking?
Ok so im 5`5 and i weigh 120 lbs.i workout but i never lose any Weight. i like to eat (alot) and im probably eating more calories than im working off. is there any certain foods i can eat that taste good and are healthy?is there any way i can stop myself from eating so much?I need to lose 5 lbs

First of all, you do not need to lose weight. 120lbs is not too much for being 5'5". But if you want to be healthy and tone up, do not follow the advice of the person telling you to drink juice and steam all of your food. Most juices contain a lot of sugars, especially if they're "juice cocktail" or "juice flavored drink". Your best bet is to drink water, skim milk, and/or green tea, and eat healthy foods (not JUST steamed chicken or rice). Eat whatever you want, just in moderation. If you know you're prone to overeating (which at 120lbs I doubt is actually true), choose a good snack like a handful of raw almonds or pistachios, low-fat yogurt, air-popped popcorn, or whole fruit (like an apple with the skin on). One of the best ways to "stop eating so much" is to drink water when you think you're hungry, because a lot of the time, you're actually thirsty. And try to get in a good 30-60 minutes of cardio just about every day, plus weight or resistance training every other day. Good luck!



Loosing weight fast is always an unhealthy thing.
The best thing to loose and hold a healthy weight is healthy food, less sugar, lots of drinking water, and sports.
There are many diets who tell you that you can loose a lot of weight in no time. And it is working, but you are doing no good to your body. And there's also the Jojo-effect.
Diet has to begin in your head. And you already started to think about your nutrition. That's an important step. It is too easy just to make a magazine-diet for 2-3 weeks and loose some weight. But it will come back soon again. If you are over-thinking your nutrition and activity, you will have a constantly good result. Isn't that much better and healthier than a crash-diet ?

you can eat how much you like if you stay within these 3 guidelines and still lose fat naturally and gradually. You should lose 10lbs each month on average.

1.eat only steamed lean meats, eggs, healthy fruits ,vegetables, nuts, grains, & yogurt..2. drink only water, juice, & milk..3. walk or do some physical exercise 1-3 hour every day.


(btw, recommend you also to buy an electronic food steamer ((Very cheap)) and a rice cooker as makes it very easy to prepare healthy meals ,,also, can add a bit of olive oil and pepper, spices on top of steamed vegeatables, fish or chicken to give more taste)
