I have started doing regular exercise from begining january, and i have been los!

Question: I have started doing regular exercise from begining january, and i have been losing muscle,?
what is the possible reason for this?

Answers:

Hello,

There could be one of two reasons why you are losing weight.

The first could simply be that you are not eating enough protein to increase your muscle size. If this is the case then i would advise including a high protein supplement throughout the day.

The other possibility is that you are over training and you are not giving yourself enough time to recover from your work outs and you may not be giving your body the nutrients it needs to sustain the extra muscle growth.

Normally with newcomers is that you are over training.

Most likely you are not eating enough calories, and your body is consuming your lean tissue for fuel. This is bad, because more lean tissue helps regulate your body weight and burns off fat.

If you are not eating 1500 calories a day, start eating foods like chicken salad or tuna salad made with fresh fruits and vegetables ( and make sure the chicken is from lean chicken breast). This will give you healthy calories and protein.

eat more protein and carbs
or take a supliment

and do more weights in addition to cardiovascular

you havent realy stated your routine so its hard to tell you where your going wrong
state what your eating and what your fitness routine is and people can help a little more :)
