How much weight can i lose this way?!

Question: How much weight can i lose this way?
I eat 1,200 calories of healthy food, and i hit the gym for 2 hours, 6 days a week. I do cardio for an hour- burning 700 calories, and i go on the treadmill for an hour, about 40 minutes of jogging and 20 minutes of walking.- burning about 500 calories on that. Im doing great btw (: How much weight can i drop in 3 weeks?

Answers:

Actually, it looks like you aren't eating enough calories for what you are burning off. 1,200 calories is the minimum amount of calories a dieter should be eating when they are NOT exercising. At this rate, you are very likely to lose control of your hunger and want to eat every ounce of cookie dough in sight. It happens all the time.

I would recommend bumping yourself up to a minimum of 1,500 calories if you are going to continue to exercise at that rate. You should never lose more than an average of 2 pounds (.9 kilos) a week. So, to answer your question, you can healthily drop aprox. 6 pounds in three weeks. If this is the first time you've been dieting in a while, you may drop a bit more at first as your body adjusts. If you find that after the first couple of weeks at 1500 calories you still lose more than an average of 2 pounds (.9 kilos) a week, you should increase your daily calories.

And always remember to check with your doctor first before dieting to make sure you are doing so in a healthy way. You can really hurt your entire body by dieting unhealthily. Your hair can fall out, you can damage your organs, etc.

good luck!

hi there, I had a weight problem that it seemed hopeless. I used to take all kinds of pills but nothing seem to work. Till I stumpled upon these tips, I was a bit skeptical at first. there was a bit of improvement for the first week, but I felt good. After going through that initial stage, which was a real confident booster, I started working on my diet habit to maintain my results. I couldn't be happier.
