my sister is about 13 years. She has had a root canal on a tooth in the front. A dentist took an xray and said the root looks short. Would having a short root make a problem when having braces? and If she had braces would the tooth fall out?

not really..........some people have short roots. the root canal will come out just fine. my middle son had braces for about 16 months ago and they moved his bottom teeth alittle to fast and his lower central roots got short, when i saw them on the x-ray i thought i would just die, but that was 8 yrs ago and all the lower front teeth are just FINE. don't worry, everything will be just fine. good luck
