Do Braces Hurt when u get them on?
Or after the braces r on .....or after about a week ...i only want answers from people who have had or have braces please because i'm going to get braces!

OKay, I think I beat all of you when I say that I have had my braces on for 5 years, and I still have them on =]
okay, them don't HURT, they get sore, becasue they tighten your teeth so they move straight. It will hurt to eat for a couple of days, but the soreness will fade away. try ibuprofen, or any kind of pain killer. When you get them adjusted every month, they tend to be sore for about a day or two, but it normal, becasue your teeth are being tightened to be straightened. Trust me, I know What i'm talking about. I have had oral surgery before, but don't worry about that. Just think - all the soreness you went through will be worth it in the end, wil perfect, white, straight teeth!
