You should brush your tongue twice a day with a soft toothbrush. you should floss your teeth daily to ensure your plaque levels are low which means less bacteria, if you cannot use floss try the inter-dental brushes like tepe's. Use a chlorhexaine based mouthwash like corsodyl for 7-14 days as it is antibacterial. do not use longer than 2 weeks as it will stain your teeth, after 2 weeks switch to a non alcohol base fluoride mouthwash such as dentyl.
Cut down on alcohol, smoking and tea drinking as these can all make your condition worse. drink plenty of water recommend 8 glasses a day as this will stimulate salivary glands.
If the symptoms persist please consult your dentist.
Yes you should either brush your tongue with your toothbrush, or use a tongue scraper (you can get them from Boots).
Don't use a mouthwash with alcohol in it - that could make it worse.
Smokers suffer from furry tongue more often than non-smokers, and a very white furry tongue can be an indication of less than perfect liver function.
possibly you have thrush.....can get prescription @ dr.
