Odd tooth eruption pattern in my child...?!
Question:
Odd tooth eruption pattern in my child...?
My son whose six, a month ago lost one of the top two front teeth that took forever to come out. When it did, his permanent adult tooth quickly took its place and within a week it was fully erupted. However it came in slightly crooked. The other front tooth around this time was loose and was wiggled out with no problems. But nothing as yet has even begun to show its presence. So he thus has one very large slightly crooked adult size front tooth and a missing space next to it. Is it normal for a month to go by and no new tooth has replaced it yet.
Answers:
Yes, the other tooth may have pushed it, but, I would take him ti a dentist to make sure he doesn't need a pallette expander.
