my teeth are normally white. i brush my teeth every morning and night (for about two mins) and floss. i go to the dentist every 6 mths and its been about 4 mths since i last went.

on three of my teeth i have noticed this sort of greyish colour forming around the gum and tooth. ive booked in for an appt with my dentist but thats not for another 3 wks since they're booked out. what do u think this is? should i be very concerned?

nope im not a smoker. and i have a healthy diet too

It sounds as though you have a good oral hygiene routine. However, you can brush and still miss areas of plaque. When plaque isn't removed from surfaces of the teeth, it will harden... known as tartar. Tartar can come in an array of colors. I've seen green and orange believe it or not! So.... run your fingernail over these spots that you're concerned about. Does it feel hard and rough? Is it on the tooth surface (as opposed to on the gum tissue)? If you answered yes, it's probably tartar. If that doesn't describe what you feel with your nail, then I'm not sure what else it could be. It doesn't sound like something that can't wait another 3 weeks though. I wouldn't worry :)
