I got shock .. the dentist told me that i will not given sedation for my wisdom !

Question:

I got shock .. the dentist told me that i will not given sedation for my wisdom tooth extraction ..?

my two impacted bottom tooth .. if they need to cut the gum to remove it .. must it need to get stiches .. and is it painful when doing or remove ..?

Answers:

It depends,

It may not be very deep or bad and is a simple painless procedure. If a sitch or two is required you won't feel that at all or the cutting. maybe a slight pressure when the tooth is lifted out, and that is for a moment.

My question to you is ..do you have a medical condition like heart problems that would make sedation a dangerous risk?

If so that is why he will not sedate for the procedure.

Look for another dentist opinion on that. Make some calls around to offices and ask them if that normally is the procedure before entering into it to help calm your fears.

Take in and mp3 or ipod or Cd with head sets and listen to the music instead of the hum drum dental distractions that leads to anxiety.
