It may be just the gums around the bridge are irritated from the prepping. Take a couple of Ibuprofen and see if that helps. If not, the temporary may be too high and needs to be adjusted by your dentist. Hope this helps!

NO! it's not normal. i would call the dentist. is it sensitive(like to cold or hot) it may have a hole in it. this happened to me.
