Well, I'm presuming you're American.
In most cases getting to another country and having the procedure done will cost just as much as having it done here.
One exception, if you live within a two hour drive of the Mexican Border, there are many decent & inexpensive dental clinics there. Mexico however does not have strict standards, so if you go this route you should REALLY get a recomendation from an American who been to THE clinic you plan to attend. Got it? Mexcio HAS good dental clinics, they just aren't required to be good.
There may be similar options in Canada, but the price differential won't be as high. Canadan dentists though woud be better regulated.
This is a really really bad idea! I have heard of people doing this and ending up with terrible infections. Mexico is a poor option; it's hit or miss if there is even sterilization used in the offices. Canada has the same standards as the US and dental costs are a little bit lower. If you really want to know where people go for major reconstructive work, it is Thailand. It would be cheaper for you to see a dentist at home than just the airfare!
