What would happen if you stopped brushing your teeth? Would it make a difference!

Question: Teeth would rot. Periodontal problems likely. Pain and cost would be ongoing. Dentures would be nuisance. Eating wouldn't be as easy.
There was a guy on the Dr.G show (the lady who does autopsies in the Orlando area). who died from an oral infection that got into the system..surprising because the guy wasn't homeless. It's rare, but it can happen with enough neglect.
Oral care can affect distant areas of the body with the heart being known to be affected in some cases of bad periodontal care.
There's lots of people with dentures because of dental neglect. My mom was one. My boyfriend is another.

You would build up plaque, naturally. If you have decay causing bacteria, you can expect cavities. If not, chances are you have gum disease causing bacteria. The cavities show up quicker than gum disease. I've only had 2 patients in the last 20 years that had bacteria that did neither (but one of them had cancer!)

Your teeth would all rot & then you could get false teeth, like me and they are a pain. They hurt your mouth etc.
Do you want that?
bloomingidiot

ewww first of all they would rot and fall out!!

Your breath will just stank..... How did you even think of this question?
Try at your own risk

you would enjoy hrs and hrs of root canals.
