Does diet soda weaken the cement in braces?
My dentist told me that drinking diet soda (or Diet Coke) weakened the cement of my braces. Does anybody know if he's right? I just want to know what sort of soda I can drink.

Sodas are very bad for your teeth. It is the biggest cause of tooth decay.... It is very acidic and can dissolve the glue that holds your braces on. If you must drink soda, rinse your mouth with water afterwards
