Canker sores?

Canker sores translate to what in Spanish?

Also, when should I see a doctor in relation to canker sores. I've had around 6-7 in the past two months, presently I have three. Does any one know the causes and if it may be something serious?

I doubt it, I haven't been sexually active in about 7 months and I started getting the sores around 2-3 months back.

Both my sister and I used to get them that often it was horrible. But my sister discovered something very interesting - when either of us drank from an aluminum can we got a canker sore a few days later.

Both of us started using glasses or straws for pop and haven't had more than a few (slip ups) in over 10 years.
