Keep on brushing. The mouth is probably the fastest healing thing we have. I ran into that same problem a few days ago (except mine weren't bleeding, so it probably'll take yours a little longer to heal) and it was very painful. Just keep on brushing over the affected area (even though it hurts BAD)...and if it doesn't get better within I would say about 1 wk, then go to the dentist. Rinse a few times a day with mouthwash also. I don't recommend Listerine, etc., I recommend Crest Pro-Health Rinse (That is what I use and it works wonders without the burn). Hope I could help!

Sounds like gingivitis, inflammation of the gums. Try an antiseptic mouthwash. If this doesn't work, most dentists will see NHS patients on an urgent basis even if they're not registered with them.

Your gums are probably infected with gingivitis.

You can gargle with peroxide either straight or with half water...until you get to the dentist.

I know a guy who had to have his teeth scaled (deep cleaned) and his gums are great now.

keep brushing. my dentist said that if my gums bled, to keep brushing.
it just means that your gums arent used to brushing.

Its the law in the UK that if you say its an emergency they must see you that day,and they will.it does not have to be a dentist that your registered with, any dentist will do.(they get paid more for emergency work)

I feel that you have gum disease.
Phone the hospital, you will probably be asked to come in,or will give you a number to ring.

Just keep brushing them on a twice daily bases.

You have an infection.
