Why is one of my teeth still crooked after just getting my braces removed?!

Question:

Why is one of my teeth still crooked after just getting my braces removed?

I just had my braces removed after 14 months of having them on yesterday and i noticed that one of my teeth is still outof place on the bottom. I would of thought they would all be straight by now. The retainer i received is a invisible plastic retainer not the hawley kind that i think dosent fit right or i just not be used to it. Will my tooth straighten or does it just stay like that?

Additional Details

im 16 and my teeth werent so bad before i got braces put on so that would explain why i had them on for only 14 months

Answers:

It doesn't sound like you even had your braces long enough. Was the tooth ever in the correct position? Your retainer will hold them in place. It won't move that tooth( unless...) . It may have moved quickly (especially since it seems like you didn't have your braces long enough for your teeth to even stabilize) and if that is the case your retainer should move it back. I would ask your Ortho about that one. Sounds like he didn't finish or that tooth just moved quickly after your braces were removed.
