Answers:
Try biting on a wet tea bag for approx 20 minutes the tanic acid in the tea bag helps the blood to clot. It is normal to have oozing from an extraction site for the next 12 hours or so and mixed with saliva may look like a lot. If you are on any blood thinners such as aspirin or ibuprofen switch to Tylenol for the next 12 hours. Do not smoke, do not suck on a straw because that will also cause more bleeding and the blood clot in the socket to be drawn out and if you get a dry socket those can be extremely painful. Stay on a soft diet for the next 12 hours. If by tomorrow the bleeding is still bright red call your dentist, they can put a medicated packing in the socket to help sooth and regain healing.
