I have a lingual paresthesia due to a lesion in the inferior dental nerve. Will I recover soon?

It has been 5 months since I had my wisdom tooth pulled out and I still have half of my tongue insensitive to cold or heat, and I also feel weird sensations on it


Answers:

If it's been 5 months it may be permanent. It's not as uncommon as people think. It is very tough to give injections an do surgery without geting right up next to nerves. There's always the danger of nerve damage. What does your doc say?
