I just got back from the dentist, why does my mouth hurt so much?!
Question:
I just got back from the dentist, why does my mouth hurt so much?
I got verneers today. I was o.k. through most of the procedure.
The pain really got bad as I was driving home.
The 3 hour ride home was awful. I took excederine and anbosol, the pain is still very strong, but a little better.
Should I call the dentist back? Should I ask him to give me pain pills?

I had the same prob. I was sore after putting them in. And after crowns too. My dentist prescribed ibuprophen. It took care of it and pain subsided in a day. I would go back there. Maybe the veneer is too big for the space or your bite is off. Mines felt sore but not extreme pain. Good luck!
