Bleeding days after Oral Surgery?!

Question: A canine of mine was stuck up in my gums so they had to expose it. On the referral sheet, it was called an exposure of the upper left 3, which is my canine. after the gum tissue was cut away and i was sutured up, they put something called a Periodontal Pack on the spot, which was initially like gum, but then turned clay-ish. Anyway, it bled profusely right after surgery like it should have. 2 days later the bleeding died down, and I'd have an occasional leaking of blood but nothing major.
However, on the 5th day, after getting up from a nap, I realized that there was a lot of blood in my mouth, some of which was clumpy, while others were stringy. It doesn't taste foul, so I don't think it's an infection. Any ideas as to why this happens?
I take about 3 600mg pills of ibuprofen during the day and 3 pills of amoxcillin during the whole day. I brush my teeth after meals, and only go slightly over the Pack. I also occasionally rinse with Listerine [recommended by assistant]. Help!

That sounds normal it would have been the clot that came out 'stringy/clumpy'. Unless it bled profusely after that or you're experiencing any pain i wouldn't worry.

This does happen, dont pull the clot out or anything, if you are uncertain go back to the dr and have him check it.
