Can an oral surgeon fix a tooth that is crooked?!

Question:

Can an oral surgeon fix a tooth that is crooked?

My friends and I were talking, can an oral surgeon fix a tooth that is out of line. One that is in front and higher than all of the other top teeth. Can a oral surgeon go in and fix the tooth by surgery?

Answers:

yes and no.
I had a fiberotomy on my front tooth because it was twisted, but I still had to have braces so that it healed straight.
