Teeth whitening/bleaching kits?!

Question: I am getting married in August and would like to know of any tooth whitening/bleaching kits that really work. I live in England. Or how much do dentists charge to bleach them?

I've done both home bleaching and ones at the dentist. I found that the dentist's really got deep down stains and was permanent even though I didn't get the results I expected. It didn't look drastically different like I had wanted, but my dentist said it was, "More natural looking that those fake bright white blinding teeth." Ugh lol. That treatment was a few hundred dollars, not bad. But once or twice a year I use like 2 weeks worth of Crest White Strips and those really seem to do the trick too. Although if you have sensitive gums you might want to watch out, they can make them a little raw for a few days. But they don't bother me much. Not sure if they have these in England though. Sorry if I wasn't much help.

home kits are cheaper and do really work.

i've had visible results with aquafresh white trays. it's $40USD and takes a week to complete.

Dentists charge a few hundred pounds, but it's better to go them than get home bleaching or salon bleaching - beauty therapists aren't qualified as dentists and over the counter bleaching kits tend to have way too much hydrogen peroxide in them, not to mention other nastier chemicals which can damage the enamel on your teeth and burn your gums. Another advantage of going through the dentist is they will make bleaching trays specifically to fit your mouth, so they will be more comfortable and more effective.

Dentists usually charge anywhere from $200 to $2000 to whiten teeth, depending on the method you choose.

If I were you, I would try the Crest Whitestrips. I had recently completed a course of the Crest Whitestrips Premium Plus and had very minimal results. I was quite disappointed. But, I was advised by my dentist to try another 10 days of the Premium Plus, because he said that for some people, it simply takes longer to get the desired results. So anyway, I am on a second course of the Whitestrips, and he was right, I am now seeing that my teeth are a LOT whiter than they were before.

Unless you have severe staining on your teeth (which no offense, but people in England aren't exactly known for their beautiful teeth), I would try the Crest Whitestrips. If you do have severe staining, then I would just go straight to the dentist and have him do it. The whitestrips, and all home bleaching kits, really are for teeth that "aren't that bad".

The most expensive part ot tooth whitening is getting the trays fitted by your dentist. It can be like 200USD. The bleach is about 50USD

Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries but certain precautions have to be taken. I found the information at http://www.aches.in/toothwhitening.html
