Question: I'm getting a silver filling done in one of my molars (my first cavity in a permanent tooth - stinks!). How is it different than the ones I got as a kid in baby teeth?

I am a dentist. No different, it will just probably be replaced several time in your life is all.

It won't be different.
But this tooth won't fall out unless you have awfully poor oral hygeine.
Depending on the size of the cavity, it will be pretty much the same procedure you had as a child.
