About dental crowns?!
Question: About dental crowns!?
i needed a crown after it was put on i have felt it as if it is high then the other molars !.he said i have to get use to it but it feels the same when i chew i feel that tooth more can it be repaired or fix in anyway after its on!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok!.!.!.if it is high I do recommend following the Dr!.s advice!.
Give it a week and then if it still hurts or seems high still just make an appointment (follow-up)!. Don't ask just do, its not up to them whether or not the Dr!. sees you!. You are paying after all!. There should also be NO additional charge for it!
When you get there and sit down let him know it still really bothers you!. He should then do a little filing on the crown and re-adhere it!. It is absolutely no problem to fix!.!.!.actually its an easy fix!. I have had the same thing happen to me like 3 times for 3 different teeth!. I'm not lucky w/ my teeth at all!.!.!.!.thanks to my genes!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, when you bite down, you should NOT bite/hit on this tooth ONLY 1st!. If you hit on all teeth, it just feels weird, but if you ONLY hit on this crown it is too high and may cause a toothache!. You can request it be filed down, but this may scratch the porcelain or whatever your crown is made of!. It just may not look as pretty afterward, or you can request it be redone!. Do not follow the above persons advice, b/c if you don't call and make an appointment for the crown they WILL charge you for an office visit b/c you were scheduled for something different/requiring more time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course it can be fixed after it has been done, your dentist sounds very lazy!. He should have made sure you were comfortable before leaving his clinic!.
