Well!.!. it really depends if you really have an infection!.!. or just have pain from having had your tooth pulled out recently!.
Only a culture would tell you if you have an infection!.
But, I'd think that Macrobid would not be helpful at this point!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

see your dentist if after a round of antibiotic and pain meds are finished and pain is still there!? Sounds possibly like a "dry socket" They happen when the blood clot that covers the bone where the root of the tooth was, is disturbed or comes out!. That usually happens when someone smokes or sucks thru a straw or rinses to forcefully!. any sucking action can cause you to end up with a dry socket !. Have it checked out they can be painfulWww@Answer-Health@Com
