Answers:
No one is too young for a root canal!. If you have decay in the tooth (a cavity) and it gets so big the decay gets to the nerve in the tooth, you'll need a root canal!.

Be sure when you're brushing that you're using a soft bristle tooth brush and gently brush the gums along with the teeth!. Floss daily!. If you're not in the habit, expect some bleeding & soreness from the gums!. This is just a sign the tissue's not as healthy as it should be and if you continue to floss, things will get healthier, the soreness & bleeding will eventually stop!.

As far as the biting sensitivity it could be a few things!. If the cavity the dentist filled was deep, this could be a part of it and in time the discomfort could go away!. The nerve could just be kind of irritable from everything!.

That said, if the filling is too "high" and you're hitting it too soon when you're teeth come together it should get adjusted (ground down a bit) so you're not hitting it so soon!. (I hope that made sense)!.

Another issue is that if you're gums aren't healthy and the gums have receded - exposing the roots, this could cause sensitivity too!.

There are so many things that could be a part of this issue, truly you should get in to see a dentist!. If you're unhappy with your current one, get another!. There are bad dentists out there and there are really, really good ones out there too!.

I would ask your dentist to reevaluate your tooth to determine if you are having root sensitivity versus caries!. And that is just root sensitivity, your dentist should be able to make recommendations on options to help with the root sensitivity!. However, if it is a cavity, it needs to be addressed soon so that you don't end up needing a root canal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go to another dentist you may have gingivitis, but pretty sure you will have a cavity 2Www@Answer-Health@Com
