Question: Have you ever had this done before!? What should I expect!?
Its called a Maxillary Anterior Frenectomy and what they do is they take the thing that connects your upper lip to your gum and cut it!. (Sorry! It's really gross!) I'm having it done tomorrow and I'm really freaked out! What should I expect!?

Yep, I just had that done!.
Believe it or not, you don't feel a thing!. I was already numb for having extractions, but you won't notice it at all after it's done!.
You might have some minor bleeding after (my dentist said that bleeding during the procedure is rare)!. The bleeding later can be due to irritation or stretching of the mouth tissues!.
Don't worry, it's a really minor procedure!. You can take ibuprofen (Motrin) for pain if necessary, but I bet you won't even feel it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
