Where do dental emergency patients go?!

Question: Where do dental emergency patients go!?
After the dentists offices are closed, there's a bad accident, car accident, and a person is injured by hitting his mouth on the steering wheel and his teeth are hanging out of his gums!. But, unfortunately all dental offices are closed, it's 11pm, the hospital refuses to see him because there is no dentist on call!. So, where do we go!? (This is a story I made up) I don't understand how come no one can see you if your are in severe pain after dental offices are closed, why don't they have a dentist on call 24 hours a day!? Why isn't there a dentist that's open after hours!? I was in severe pain the other night, and they just said, well all we would do is give something double the strength of ibuprofen until the dentist office opens!. I called around to a few hospitals, it's bullcrap if you happen to ask me!. Any thoughts!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If someone is a regular patient of a dentist, call him or her!. Sometimes they will give a number for emergencies!. ER at hospital will help if you live long enough to get seen by a doctor!. My last trip three weeks ago took 12 hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hospitals ARE equipped to handle all medical emergencies!. If there is no one there with dentistry skills, ther is one " on call", meaning they can be called to come in!.
Meanwhile, the staff at the hospital can stabilize him, or transfer him to a better facility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They would most likely call a oral surgeon to come in!. If it is something that bad, a general dentist wouldn't be able to treat them!. There are some dentists that will stay open for long hours or overnight but they are usually in big cities!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well I know that if you page your dentist that you go to they will call you back with advice and help if it is bad enough they can also come into the office and treat that night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

call 911 obviously if it's a car accident!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
