Question: I'm getting my braces off!!?
Has anyone recently had they're braces removed!? I have the new kinda braces and they dont have bands they just have metal blocks with wire!. I'm getting them removed and people have told me that it does hurt!. I'm just wondering the whole process!. It's going to feel a bit wierd afterwards, but do I have to eat soft food for a few days afterwards because it will hurt!? or not!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had the exact same brace!. it does hurt alittle first they take the wires out (easy no pain at all) then they pull the metal square things out (not so much pain as discomfort)!. as for eating my teeth were a little sensitive for a few hours then i was back to normall!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No it doesn't hurt at all afterwards!.
The process of filing off the cement from your teeth is quite unpleasant!. Not painful, but not nice!. But you get used to it after a few minutes and it's definitely worth it! When the dentist pulls off the brackets it doesn't hurt!. You hardly feel it - maybe just a tiny bit of pressure!.

i have had mine for about 5yrs now ive had a removed once it hurts alittle but nearly as much as getting them tightened or realined u will be fine just relax (less pain)Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes sorry to say it hurts but you have to eat soft cool foods for a bit and gradually you start eating as normal :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
no ull be fine, doesnt hurt noway near as much as after they tighten them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
