Question: Tooth extraction - Does too much force require!?!?
I have my tooth extraction this weekend!. I think extraction requires lot of force, so the Dr!. should be strong!. Whereas the dr!. i consulted she is not that strong!. I am worried she may be not able to extract properly!. Any answer from dentistry students or dentists !?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tooth extraction requires technique, not brute force!. Brute force would be used to break your jaw or break your teeth!. How the tooth is attached to your jaw is through 'elastic bands' that attach your tooth to your gums and bone!. How the tooth is extracted is by breaking these 'elastic bands' and then then tooth will come out!. Of course, when the tooth root has a bit of curve to it, it can be difficult to get out in one piece, that's when the dentist will take out your tooth like removing a tree stump :)
If the tree stump has 2-3 roots and are in different directions, then the stump has to be divded to remove the roots individually!. If there needs to be soil removed to see or get to the root, then in the mouth it would be gums/bone removed!.
If you are still worried she may not be able to extract properly (i think you mean entire removal of the tooth), you can request for an xray after the extraction and it will show you if any of the tooth is still there :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Uhm!.!.HELLO! Don't underestimate your dentist because she is a female who may not be strong!. She went to school for that,buddy!.
She will do just as good of a job as any other dentist!. It does not take that much force to pull out a tooth!. They use tools for this!.

I'm pretty sure not a lot of force is required!. It's all down to cutting carefully around gum and tooth!. It should come out quite easily!. Actually, I know that when you're getting your wisdom teeth extracted, they push down on the tooth! That breaks the nerves etc and it pulls out easily!.
