Question: Receding gums!?
the bottom row of my teeth are getting kind of crooked and have noticed some gum recession between two crooked teeth!.have you experienced this before!?have you ever had gum recession!?any advice besides seeing dentist!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you smoke, stop!.!.!.my dentist said that smoking causes gums to receed!. I would also floss every night and rinse twice a day with warm salt water, not eating for 30 minutes after you rinse!. My Dad always said salt water would toughen your gums up!.!.!.but I don't know if there is any actual truth to that!.
When you do get a chance (or have the money) go to the dentist and get a good cleaning!. I think the plaque might be below the gum line and you will never be able to clean it!.!.!.only a dentist can scrape down there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Gum recession can be caused by smoking, poor oral hygiene, and happens naturally as you age!. It can also be to do with brushing too hard or with a brush that's too firm!. Once the gums have receded there's not a lot you can do, so you really do need to go and see the dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yeah just recently i started noticing that my gums were receding!. i asked my dentist about it and he said that i must be brushing too hard!. he said that is the #1 cause of receding gums - so he told me to try brushing my teeth very gently!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The position of you teeth can have an effect as well as toothbrushing techniques!. A soft toothbrush and circular motion instead of back and forth can help with the recession!. Dont scrub your teeth, let the brush do the work for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
