Has anyone had their wisdom teeth pulled?!

I had my wisdom teeth pulled when I was 19 years old!. I'm 39 now!. They first gave me nitrous oxide, and then put me to sleep!. I don't remember anything of the procedure!.
After the procedure, they prescribed me Percodan for the pain!. It was quite good as I recall!. I remember feeling as though I was floating!.
However, these are different days!. They may not prescribe such powerful pain medications now!. Request the pain reliever that you want, the worst that can happen is they say no!. Make sure to make the request before the procedure, because after you'll be unable to make the request, you'll be in lala land!. :o)
