I think she's calling a mouth ulcer (aka fever blister) a stomach sore!. They can be caused by stomach acid, like if you had really bad heartburn!. But, it can also be a number of things!. You might be allergic to something!. Do you whiten!? I've heard those strips cause sores, especially if you're allergic to the whitening compound, like me!. If you've taken antibiotics recently, they can cause the normal bacteria in your mouth to go in "overdrive" and multiply, causing one or several sores!. It really just depends!.
But, it's good to go to the dentist!. I'm just listing my own experiences here and all!. I'd advise against the cleaning, though!. It might make the sore worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've heard of an ulcer being referred to as a stomach sore!. But the reference was to the sore actually being in the stomach and not the mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
