Question: What DL And DO means in dental terminology!?
I went to a dentist and he gave me a quote for the following!. I dont know what they mean but I can just see the prices!. In layman's term please!. Thanks

DL=distal lingual (back side and tongue side of tooth)
DO=distal occlusal (back side and biting surface of tooth)
MO=mesial occlusal (front side and biting surface of tooth)
UL=Upper left
LL=Lower left
PFM=porcelain fused to metal (metal crown with tooth colored porcelain over the top to look natural)
