I'm getting my wisdom teeth cut out on Friday and I have no clue what to expect!. It's out of the bone and the root is small so it shouldn't be too bad!. Answers:
I'm getting my two upper wisdom teeth removed this friday, so I'm in the same boat your in!.

Here is my food list:
apple sauce
bananas
soft boiled eggs
cream of wheat
yogurt
ice cream
smoothes
soft bread
jello
pudding
and of course mashed potatoes, and soup!.

Make sure you have ice packs for the swelling and tea bags to help with the bleeding and pain!. Oh and make sure you have some good movies and books on hand cause you may be stuck in bed for awhile!. I don't know about you but I'm starting to get a little nervous!. My appointment is set for 8-8-08 at 8 o'clock don't know if that will bring me good or bad luck!. Anyways it depends on the person but it shouldnt be too painful as long as they knock you out and then give you good drugs afterwards!. They dont want to give me pain killers but I'll make them!. I cant deal with pain I want my drugs lol!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

it takes like a week or 2 i tihnk for puffiness to go down but it depends on the person and most people eat jello, pudding, oatmeal umm apple sauce yeah and like u said soup basically not much else unless you want to stick meat in a blender and blend it!.!.!.soo gross Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had all 4 surgically removed and I was so swollen I could only suck through a straw for the first week, then after that only soft foods for a few weeks!. Everyone is different, you'll just have to wait and see what you can manage!. Hope it goes well!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was eating hot dogs (my favorite food!) 2 hours after having all 4 removed, although my jaws were packed with cotton!. It didn't really hurt, even the next day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can eat anything soft, that doesn't require you to chew vigourously!.!. like soft bread and porridgeWww@Answer-Health@Com
