Wisdom teeth, dry sockets question?!

Question: Wisdom teeth, dry sockets question!?
I got my wisdom teeth out Tuesday afternoon and I have been following all the postoperative instructions as closely as possible!. I noticed earlier when I was eating that there was like a string hanging from one of the "wound" sites and I don't know if it was food or if the stitches came loose!. I didn't mess with it and just finished eating!. There was no blood!. I'm afraid to run my tongue over it because I don't want to mess anything up and my mouth is still too swollen and sore to open it up far enough to be able to see!. I got regular stitches, not dissolvable!. Is it possible that the stitches could have come out on their own!? And what are the probabilities of dry sockets, and how would you know that you have them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Don't worry about that string hanging out!. It's just the end of the stitch!. I had my wisdom teeth removed last Thursday and I got the dissolvable stitches and it's still hanging there right now!. Just leave it alone!. Don't try to pull on it or anything!.

You would know if you had a dry socket because it is very intense shooting pains that's unbearable!. It will hurt your ears and throat too so it's unmistakeable!. Regular pain is normal, just not when it's hurting to the extreme!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry, you will find out everything when you go back to the dentist(you should have an appointment in a week or so)!. I think probabilities for dry socket are like 1/5 or 1/10!. I had one and it wasn't even that bad, it cured right up in a couple weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it was the end of the stiches
mine came out yesterday after 1 weekWww@Answer-Health@Com
