Is it possible to get a sinus infection from having a top back tooth removed?!
Question: Is it possible to get a sinus infection from having a top back tooth removed!?
My friend had a top back tooth removed and by the next day she was having a horrible smell in her mouth and the left side of her nose (which is the side that was pulled) has been running like a water faucet!. She said she felt extreme pain as soon as he gave her the shot and has been having pain in her face, ear, the smell and nose running ever since!. It has been almost a week now!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your sinus cavity sits right on top of your upper teeth!. I had an abscessed tooth pulled in January and until May had sinus pressure and drainage!. I went to the doctor for a prescription and since then haven't had any pain or pressure, but am still having green discharge!.so my answer would be yes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes it's very possible!. I was just at the dentist yesterday, and saw on my xrays that your sinuses are RIGHT there!. I actually just had a molar removed too, which I think was the cause of my sinus infection!. She shouldn't still be in pain though!. Did they put her on antibiotics!? If she had to have the tooth removed, chances are there was a big infection!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
