Hello, Yes a Dentist who was educated and licensed in another country can practice in the US providing he or she meets certain qualifications!. Not all countries require the same educational standards!. The foreign dentist can contact the American Dental Association or the State Dental Board in the US state they wish to practice in and find out what requirements they will have to meet!. Yes, but they will have to complete whatever steps necessary to become board certified!. That might include (among other things) being under the supervision of an ADA certified dentist for a period of time!.
