Do I have tmj-please read?!

Question: Do I have tmj-please read!?
Lately my jaw has been sore, kinda stiff like, mainly in the upper area, and I've also had headaches, my sinus' have been acting up too if that matters!. If I wiggle my jaw around a little bit that helps temporarily!. Does that sound like TMJ!? Is there anything I can do to relax it!? I also have problems with anxiety, so that is probably contributing!. I don't have insurance yet, b/c I just started my job, so I need some at home remedies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
doesn't sound like tmj, however anxiety might attribute to it!. when going through stress, we tend to clench our teeth or grind them in our sleep, which would contribute to the soreness of teeth and jaws!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello!. While your saying that you have had some sinus issues that may be an issue, but given your other statements about a new job and no insurances I'm thinking you may be dealing with more of a stress issue than anything else!.!.!. We know that high stress comes from one or a combination of these six areas, (1) Money (2) Employment (3) Marriage (4) Health (5) Sex and (6) Self Esteem!.!.!.!.!.WE also know that when one or more of those issue gets the best of you will grit, grind and clinch your teeth!.!.!.Those actions can cause not only simple discomfort in the jaw area but if left untreated and allowed to continue for an extended period of time can cause actual damage to both the teeth and the Jaw joint, much less your emotional system!. If you have had the proper Xrays to check out the jaw joint and everything appears to be alright, I would advise your next appointment be with a professional counselor!.!.!.!. Emotional stress is no different than having a bad appendix!.!.!.they both requires good judgement about seeking out the proper professional care!.!.!.Good luck and I wish you well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your symptoms does not point towards the TMJ disorder!. it looks like as you have the problem of grinding your teeth as that is mainly when the person is uner stress!.and your condition is further aggravated by the sinus problem!. so just relax!. if the joint and the muscles are really stiff then you can do hot and cold fermentations!.for more information on TMJ disorders you can visit the following link

I am guessing that you are clentching your teeth which causes undo strain on the muscles of your jaw!. Clicking and popping sound when chewing or yawning is a sign of TMJ!. Try to be aware of clentching your teeth!. You can certaining develop TMJ difficulties if you continue!! Are your teeth starting to be sensitive to hot and cold!?!? This is also a compression problem caused by clentching!. One suggestion!.!.!.!.you can try a mouth guard such as those sold for kids playing little league baseball!. Use it when you sleep!. It will hold your jaws slightly apart and may help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

just one question, did yu get your wisdom teeth out!? if not then this may be the cause of your pain and the headaches could be the results of sinus problems!. 'If you have gotten your sidom teeth out, well sorry for taking up your time, still your headaches could be because of the TMJ or sinus problems!. or both!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
