Question: How sensitive is tooth enamel to that horrible scraping the dentist does to remove tartar !?
Answers:
You enamel will not be damaged!. These people are very well trained to remove the tartar!.
You are feeling sensitivity in your tooth and gums!. Tartar removal is exposing new areas to air, like when you cut you nails back and your fingertips feel funny to touch!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tooth enamel is not sensitive at all, in fact there is no nerves in the enamel of teeth!. Root surface is where most people have sensitivity issues!. My advice, use diligent oral hygiene and don't let the 'tartar' form!. See the dentist regularly so that what little does form is easily removed with the least possible 'scraping'!.
